University of British Columbia’s Building Operations to use PeopleSoft Mobile

The University of British Columbia’s (UBC) Department of Building Operations has added additional functionality to their current PeopleSoft implementation. The new functionality will include Mobile Inventory, Mobile Service Requests and Work Order Management Crew Scheduling. The mobile functionality will run on iPhone’s and iPod’s using the latest Barcode and Card Reader Add-On technology.

 The extended work will start January 2014 and will be project managed in-house by the Department of Building Operations. The Functional and Technical oversight has been sourced to Creative Netcom who will oversee UBC’s IT resources on the project and work with the Department of Building Operations to review existing Business Processes and design, configure and develop the additional functionality in PeopleSoft.
