The University of British Columbia’s (UBC) Department of Medicine has decided to move from their current Accpac Financial System to the University’s PeopleSoft Enterprise System for contracts, invoicing, billing and accounts receivable. By moving to PeopleSoft, the Department of Medicine will implement the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing (BI) modules. These modules will integrate into the existing modules and functionality already implemented at UBC, Customers, Contacts and the General Ledger (GL).
The project will start March 2010 and UBC has sourced the overall Project Management, Functional and Technical oversight to Creative Netcom who will oversee the complete project as well as UBC’s IT resources and work with the Department of Medicine to review existing Business Processes and configure the modules in PeopleSoft.
